"goldigger' or as I once overheard someone say:
"That old Hippie woman that metal detects in the water."
The handle goldigger was already taken here, so just call me "surfmaid"
That fits me just perfect, since I'm always ridding the Gulf of TRASH &
various sundry items.
If anyone is planing a trip or just up and finds themself down this way.

Hello Surfmaid!

I will definitely give ya a shout next time I make it down that way. I love Pensacola area. I lived down there for a while. Ivan & Denis both hit my house and I decided it was time to move back up north. As I set here looking at the thermometer I wonder "What was I thinking?"

I also wondered how much trash those kinds of storms scatter all over the place. The temps here have been in the 20's for a few weeks and the ground is as hard as a rock... oh how wonderful that warm sand would be!

I look forward to seeing some of your posts in "Todays Finds".

Hey, was that you detecting on the soundside just past the toll facility either Thursday or Friday last week? I can't remember which day it was but I saw someone in knee deep water swinging away. I was going to go introduce myself but I was not in proper attire to get wet.
