I purchased a metal detector several years ago and never really used it. Would like to get out and learn a little. I also understand that there is Gold in parts of PA. I have some scuba experience and would love to explore that as well.

I herd that there is gold up where you live, not like nuggets that are out west but up to 1/4''. A buddy of mine wants to go and check it out but we end up metal detecting insted, I'v seen old mineral maps for Pa. on the web and maby someone here can help you out. , good luck
