I'm a new member to TreasureNet. I'm 72 years old; been metal detecting for approx. 20 years. My main interest is Republic of Texas and Civil War relics, especially buttons and buckles...and a whole lot of miscellaneous. I enjoy getting out on a pretty day and I do a lot of walking and digging. Not too bad for a man with an artificial leg, and as soon as I figure out how to post some of my finds, I will do so. They are very interesting and rare. Glad to be aboard! To all the Vets, I'm also a Vietnam Vet and thank you for your service. Good luck!
