Just wanted to introduce myself. My son got a Garrett Ace 250 for Christmas, another 11 yr old filed with dreams of buried treasure. So basically he swings and I dig. Only been able to go a few times due to weather and school. He mainly wants to hunt coins, which is fine with me. So far only modern coins, and a couple odds and ends. Did find an old store token for a general store that was located about a mile from where we were hunting.

Looking forward to getting some tips, and sharing stories.

never been to NE Ohio, but spent a lot of time around Sandusky and marble head. I have family in Wooster. Which I guess could be considered NE OHIO.
