Main outlook at the moment would be the XP Deus 11" , Makro Racer

Since this is all new to me just glad to be part of this forum and learn as much as i can from other Members

I am based of Central Texas Area and still trying to figure out what kinda soil i will be messing with and so on ;)

I use a garret ace 350. I aspire to get a AT Pro at some point. Any detector once learned will serve you well.

Welcome and good hunting. Central Texas is pretty big and comtains everything from limestone to highly mineralized stuff in the Llano uplift area. I had a Garret 250, but managed to semi cripple myself about five years ago so I gave it to my cousin who lost it somewhere. Worked great, was dependable, but at almost 67, those field days are over for me. Have fun...

Welcome Aboard Mario! Take a look at Sub-Forums: Texas for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome from SE Texas.
I would suggest starting with something like a Garrett Ace 250 and a Garrett ProPointer AT.
Great starter setup. Use it for a while to get your feet on the ground.
Try to find a group or club near you.
Those folks can be excellent information sources and allow you to see and learn about the equipment they use.
THEN invest in the more expensive detector.

Thank you all.

So what is the main difference of the AT Pro and the AT Gold. both are going for the same price.

Which one would you recommend of those two

Also got to go to a shop and they showed me the Minelab Go 60 . Sigh sooo many choices

Thanks all

Welcome Mario, I think we emailed each other recently. There are a lot of choices depending on what type of detecting you plan to do. The XP Deus is a high end relic / coin / jewelry multi-frequency detector that works extremely well in lots of iron trash (nails). The Makro Racer is also well know for fast response and target separation in iron trash. The Minelab Go-Find 60 is an excellent value, but won't be the best detector for maximum depth or target separation in iron.
