I'm Sam, and I just joined after browsing a bit. I'll be getting my first detector tomorrow, a Garrett AT Pro. I did a little bit of hunting with my father when I was a kid, but started thinking about getting into it several years ago. I was recently bitten by the bug, and have been learning as much as possible before I get my machine. I was shocked when I learned that there was such a huge community online, and that there are even TV shows about it! I look forward to learning as much as possible, and, once I have enough experience, sharing what I've learned.
