Hello fellow treasure hunters :-)
I'm a complete newbie from California. I've been out a few times and hate to admit that I did feel the gold fever.. turned out to be Mica!
Such a silly mistake huh. I have the basic tools such as panning set, rock hammer but so far all the areas I've prospected have been a fail.
A bit about me, 39, born in the UK but now living in California since 2012. Love photography, web developing and the usual man things. I've had this new found love for prospecting for a few months.
Anyway I'm looking to meet some new friends and learn a lot more about prospecting. Long term goal is actually collect some gold stuff! Anyone local to Orange County CA on here?
I'm looking forward to meeting some like minded people :-)
