Most are found in NJ.

Anyone have any input ?? please help. I drove an hour away today to a mineral and artifact museum to only find out they were closed. Then went to a mineral store and the guy was trying to charge me 15 dollars per rock just to look at it.:( i didn't do it obviously. I just want some feedback.

Scorpioqueen6 Some could very well be Obsidian, but then Obsidian is volcanic glass, more common out here in the North West, New Jersey?, I really do not know, others on the site may be of help, I would guess that a Geology site? Seems there is EVERYTHING on the internet. If so, and you are able to find out, I'm curious. On a metal detecting site? Although many are also involved in gold prospecting, they might have an answer.
