i appreciate the welcome from you guys coming from one of the original thirteen states that being said you know in the 20 years ive been detecting the oldest coin ive found is a 1950 quarter . i bet yall got me beat on that

Yes, I did find about 35 pulltabs yesterday at a local school, but on the 36th it was a gold ring! :icon_thumleft:

i know the feeling one day at the soccer field with my mxt i was digging rotten zincs at 68 vdi but hit one that sounded loud and clear , 14k 11 gram enameled brooch

1723 is my oldest coin, lots of kg's, handful of spanish silver, countless large cents and so on. But, finding a 1964 quarter still gets my heart pounding after 46 yrs of detecting--good luck, the older stuff is out there :icon_thumleft:
