Hi all,

At one time, long ago, I was a PhD candidate in Classical Archaeology. I burnt out in year 3, and never finished. However, I worked in Greece and Turkey, on both excavation and surface survey, I did archaeological finds illustration and database management.

I miss it, and since I grew up on a farm in Ohio and frequently found stone points and tools, I figured I should find a place I can post pics of items I pick up to see if I can learn more about the artefacts from my home range.

I have a collection of items found by the family that I will likely take time to photograph and post, since I'd love to know more about all of them.

Thank you all, and I look forward to meeting more people.
