hi everyone,

new to the hobby since spring 2017 and im hooked!

i like finding anything really, the older and shinier the better.

haven't seen anyone around me detecting, usually alone in the woods or the park.

would like to meet people local if at all possible.

i like looking over old local maps, it has worked out well i think.

let me know if you are in my area and would like to swing coils!

thanks,
-TheMilDetector-

wow thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

wasn't expecting responses so quick.

ill be shorting through my finds for the first half of the year and take pics of my favorites soon!

to IDXMonster: thanks for the heads up, been wanting to check out the old swim beach at grant park but im waiting for fall so it will be less overgrown hopefully.
also want to check the other 4 old beaches that are on that stretch of the milwaukee river, tons of great potential for cool finds i hope.

thanks again to everyone!
happy hunting!

Hi The Mildetector!
I live South of Milwaukee. Glad to see your post because my wife thinks I am crazy doing this hobby. I just started again in June, but I detected a lot when I was a kid and either I was good or the places I went were not picked over. But lately, I have not found anything older than the 80's and I started an awesome pull tab collection. I would be happy to swing coils anytime! Please Private Message if you would like to go. Also, I'm not crazy.

Thanks, WisconsinPirate

As you pull those finds out of the ground, make sure to share some with us at Today's Finds!
