Hello everyone! I'm brand new here and to MD. I found an old White's CoinMaster 5000/d in storage that was in good enough condition to repair. After some new potentiometers, a battery pack, and a little learning I was able to use it in my yard to find several coins and some ancient nails and other trash. I learned how to disc out the nails and suddenly found myself hooked. Not long later (about a week! :laughing7:) I bought a Bounty Hunter LRP, a pinpointer, a Lesche digging tool, and I made a probe from a piece of scrap brass!

I look forward to learning more from the wealth of information here!
