Hello All, Newbie from SE PA here:

I recently retired (June 2017) and have developed an interest in Metal Detection as a new hobby. Just got a BH 505 and have dabbled in the back yard prior to the deep freeze showing up here. Found some change, and the normal junk stuff so far. Can't wait for spring to come so I can find my fortune LOL.

I have been following the forum for a couple of weeks now and am very interested in learning more from you guys. There is obviously a world of knowledge here and I have enjoyed reading about every ones findings and experiences.

Welcome to TNet from Virginia! Like RW said, now is a good time to research. The ground is hard so it is a good time to line up some good hunts for when it thaws out. Good Luck!

Looks like a whole lot of Virginia folk came out to welcome you, so I guess I should as well. I don't normally greet new people, only when I get the urge.

Welcome to the addition = both detecting, AND TreasureNet!
