HI, my name is Ethan:

I am new to the hobby and just purchased the Bounty Hunter Quick Silver and Bounty Hunter pin pointer from BassPro.....I am super excited to start this new hobby. I am a complete outdoors person and always trying new stuff and I got the bug to try out metal detecting. If there are any groups or people that are near the Hudson area let me know. I always like to do stuff with others as well.

Not sure in Hudson area, but in Tampa there is one... I think it is called West State Archaeological Society and another one in st. Pete named SRARS ....they meet last Monday or Tuesday of every month. You can probably Google them
