Welcome: You will find that the Garrett Ace 400 is a good detector and easy to set and operate. With limited walking ability you may want to look into getting a sand scoop with a long handle. These are for the most part used in shallow water but they work just find when digging on the beach. They can sure save you from a lot of bending over to dig targets. The coils on garrett detectors are waterproof so remember to hit the waters edge. Good luck and have fun.
