The Gold Track is a stripped-down GMT. A few of the extra features it doesn't have are a manual GB control...it runs in auto track all the time, which is not a big deal...the Auto track from Whites is very good. It also has no indication of iron targets, so it's a"dig it all" detector. All that said, it's still a very good, all metal, gold detector that runs at 48kh, so it's hot on even tiny gold. Whites was selling them off for $289, which was a smokin' deal for a very capable machine for prospecting. I'd have bought one if I didn't already have a GMT, and now a GM 24K.
