Looking for Gold in GA

Hello all my name is David Gurley and I live in Walland TN. and am looking for some new places to prospect for gold. I don't know anything about prospecting in the state of GA. so any and all help would be a Big thank you for leading me in the right direction. I have a 2 1/5 and a 3 inch dredge and hi banker combo and all my panning stuff. I just need some help finding a place to use it where I don't get into trouble or in jail. I also have a Whites Gold Master medal detector that I need to learn how to use. If any you could help me find some land to prospect on or could tell me where to check on some I would appreachet it and thank you in advance. I would also be willing to hook up with someone that don't have a dredge or stuff if you just know where to go and do it we can split the gold and have a Good time doing it.
