I would like to thank everyone who has extended a welcome to this forum. Yes, I live in a neat location and family has been here 150+ years. I am new to metal detecting but have been relic hunting for years with my Father, now deceased. I live and own part of the old site of America, Illinois which was settled around 1800 and was platted and laid out in 1818. I will share some of the things we have found just looking along the river and country side later. Look forward to this forum and it knowledge.
