i been detecting just over 3 yrs now started with a b.h. tracker4 then after a yr i upgraded to a land ranger pro. i am incental kansas so not much stuff older than 1850s here. my oldest coin a 1887 v nickel. total of 8 silver dimes 4 rosies 2 mercs and 2 barbers. no plans for getting another detector still have'nt tried all the features of the LRP yet. at time it find stuff deeper than i want to dig. i found this site reasearching a little metal dierks lumber tag i found today in my hammered yard. proves a permission/ yard is never worked out you just have to dig the iffy signals.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard oldtimerocker! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...

Welcome. Since you started out with the Tracker, you have in your hands now a detector that will fulfill your needs for years to come. The LRP will do about everything you need to explore and detect in dry ground Kansas.
