Hi Bill, and welcome to the forum! Ace 250 is a great starter machine, and kind of easy to learn. I suggest making a test garden in your yard. Use a penny, dime, nickel, quarter, a nail, and a poptop. Learn to recognize the sound and number assigned to each. Read your manual twice. Go here Idaho and look for members in your area!:occasion14:

I had an ace 250 a while back and it's a decent starter unit....easy to learn and its lightweight allows you to go long periods without arm fatigue, but what onfo are you looking for in particular?

Welcome to TNet! :hello:
Although I use an AT Pro now I still keep my Ace 250 around as a solid backup detector if I need it!
