Hey people's..Happy Holidays .My name is Kevin and I'm new to the site. Still new to Metal detecting. Used to borrow a friend's. Now I went all in n bought the Excalibur2 . I have two questions .. Can anyone recommend one of the the detector slings that are
at various sites.I spend the money..I jus want something that works well. The second question is a sand scoops..Aluminum,short, long, one piece handle or two?. Anyone's Advice would seriously Appreciated

Welcome Kevin! Can't help you with the sling (never used one), but do not skimp on a sand scoop. My first scoop was an aluminum RTG long handle. It lasted seven-years. My new scoop is bigger and weighs less. It is a Dune "Kraken," and the handle is a CKG carbon fiber. $180.00 for the set up.

I used a sling for a short while after rotator cuff surgery and honestly, IMHO, it wasn’t that much help. I wound up just using my other arm to swing the coil.

The type of sand scoop depends on the type of digging you’ll be doing. I assume that you’ll be mostly sand, so your scoop doesn’t need to be extra heavy duty like we use for the Rocky conditions here in New England. The lighter the scoop, the better, as long as it gets the job done. I have one massive, heavy duty scoop that tires me out just carrying it out to the hunting area, although it sounded like a good idea at the time.
