    Hello from Northern California

    Hello all:

    I was gifted a metal detector for Christmas and have been out swinging it few times, found 75 US coins and a Thailand half baht coin on one trip to a local park, and a Winchester shotgun shell from the 1800s.
    So far I'm hooked. I also do some gold panning and fossil collecting.
