San Juan County
Has anyone on this forum done any searching around up here in san juan county? i go out stomping around every chance i get and find new crap every time i go out. the amount of trails, marks, signs, and rock maps in this area boggles the mind. i know a few people around here that go t/hing from time to time and one gentleman that is now retired due to his own good fortune in the field.

Re: San Juan County
Rigmover, boy, you seem to be in a 'No Ghost Town' area, with the res to the west of you and little to the east. Although I live in Minnesota, my brother and I have covered almost every county south of I-40. We've been down there for 6 yrs now for 2 weeks at a time detecting ghost towns. Go to www.ghosttowns.com and see what you can find....mostly east and south of you. If you can venture south a little, I can help you with ideas of where to go. Good Luck. Goose-O/Cy-Minn

Re: San Juan County
No this is a little east of where you are
We were in the area of Nuestra Senora de los Dolores de Las Vegas Grandes
On the weekends we would go to Bosque Grande de San Francisco Xavier
for some break in the boredommmyawn
Would not even slow down in La Villa de la Santa Fe San Francisco de Assisi
(too many yuppies and artists)
Still looking in my driver log books I will find something about your area
Gotta be someone with old Blue still in Farmington
Next time you plan a fishing trip and can't decide between a side door overshot
or to cut and thread...
I see clues, they are everywhere
