    Mine Locating Tool

I suspect many of you have seen this, but I'll post it anyway. This is for use in conjunction with Google Earth, and is a fabulous way to generally locate and get some info about mines to detect. The lat/long coordinates can be a good bit off, but its a start. Go to the link below and download away!

Boss:  You go in abandoned mines?  Are you crazy?

Me:  Well, thats where the cool stuff is.

    Re: Mine Locating Tool

I haven't seen it before......Thanks. I visit a son in Montana at least once a yr and this link will help me look for mining areas where he lives. I checked his county - Silver Bow, and the site shows some mines, copper mainly.
