White's Metal Detectors of Panama City Beach
Heading to LI this week - I am originally from Selden - graduated Newfield in 79 - I am looking for a hunting partner while I am there - any pointers on which fork of the eastern Island is better for older coins and relics

Don - Lindenhurst . I hit a lot of schoolyard playgrounds . I always wind up coming home with a few bucks in change . With Hurricane Sandy heading this way and the surf kicking up I will probably hit the ocean beaches starting tomorrow .

Hi everyone, I'm in Centereach and I just got my first metal detector today. Does anyone know how long the NY state permit is good for? Does it expire at the end of each year?

GG, If you haven't yet check out this thread about "Pilgrim State Hospital , Long Island". I hope there is no problems also, the area of interest is a hiking area, so I don't think there is much of security. Some discussion is at that thread. Yes, second half of April sounds cool to me. Just hope my unit is back from the shop by then.

Received my MD back from FTP. It took about 2 weeks and works like new. A note was in the box explaining that the problem was the "Push Pad on/off Switch". Looking forward to get back to the hunt.
