Richard Guy. I did about 10 hunts with SP-24, Park1 mode and 2.77. I finally switched back to Park2. Park2 is what I learned on with my original unit and stock coil. I may be giving up some depth but the recovery speed is SO much better for my swing. I also get more consistent, more accurate readings in Park2. So I give up a little depth but I am digging many more targets, more precisely, resulting in less effort per hole and ultimately more keepers in the bag.

Thank you for this thread / info. Just ordered my SP24 and expecting it Saturday (of course it's going to get hell and brimstone hot on Sunday!). I'm running v2.78 and will just keep it at that for now. Anxious for the target separation as the stock coil is hot and can be frustrating at times. Thanks again!
