I picked up my Simplex Tuesday and finally got to take it out for a while today. Going to take a learning curve since I have used a Tesoro Silver u max for years. So far I love it. Nothing found today but junk, as I am digging a lot to learn the tones and the machine in general. I have hunted yard I was in today pretty hard in the past so no surprise that I didn't really find anything. I can't wait until I have time to get out somewhere new and relic hunt. Thanks for all that have posted here, as I researched a bit before I made my purchase.

You will love it once you get more familiar with it. I have been very impressed with mine in the short time I have had it.

Welcome. I love mine. Not much time with it yet as I purchased it during the cold season. I look forward to warmer weather......I am coming off a Nokta FoRs Core and a XP Deus. The system is hard to beat at the price for sure.

I just got my Simplex, and arrives Wednesday, can't wait....!
I did a lot of research before purchase, and for the kind of hunting I do,
I'll use it all year long - travel with me, on bike, on a big hike, swimming holes, etc
I might get the smaller elliptical DD coil, as well ($ > willing)
A great addition to my arsenal of machines...!

The Simplex is a good machine and telescopes down to a compact unit that will easy to transport. Congrats on the new detector.

Good luck with the new machine! I've owned mine for almost a year and absolutely love it! I have a couple other machines (another soon to arrive too), and the Simplex is still one of my most used machines. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty much turn on and go...happy hunting!

I've had the Simplex for a few months now, been out only a few times so far - darn snow needs to melt around here!
So far really impressed with this machine...found three coins first day out - area I hunted many times before.

Good luck with your new machine!
