I'm thinking you're going to have to rent an armored car for the return trip home. :thumbsup:

Sadly no armored car is needed.

it was a bust. I am in the market for a new detector. the wet sand just reeked havoc with the Bounty Hunter. No amt. of turning the sensitvity or discrimination came close to fixing the wet sand problem.

my haul: a whopping 52 cents in clad, tons of bottle tops and I hit a spill....buried Bud Light cans. by the thousands it seemed :)

I got the feeling the SHTC club was partying on the beach before I detected, hmm...think so???

Sorry about your luck . Couldn't be our cans . #1 We don't litter . #2 Poorhunter and Spart are too damn cheap to leave marketable cans behind .

Yea....."Mutiny on the Bounty!" :laughing7:
If it makes you feel any better...I just spent all day at the beach with a modified Excal.....walked so much beach and dug so many holes my legs and hips hurt.....and all I got for my effort was a few bucks in change. I hate when that happens! :protest:

I saw the LONG walk for over 3 hrs. the best part of the whole experience :)

but truly, that was a clean beach. I had few hits. drove me insane to have a silent detector most of the hunt.

truckin'--you have me cracking up!

Gonna help you out, here we go.....follow my lead;
Hand on hip, head low and leaned to one side, jaw cocked, eyes glaring at him through the top of your eye sockets.......you know....."that position" every woman knows how to display when they're dead serious. And then you say, "You got a truck.......and now I want a high dollar detector to help pay for it!" :laughing7:

:hello2: yes, I do that stance very well.

Casper gave me good info on detectors for water detecting. I am truly thinking of getting something like that. I would love to go into the water a bit and find things the 'hobby' detector wouldn't try. I might have to sell the truck to buy the detector.
