Jeffypoo I'm in Florida! We went to the CW in Marietta this past weekend and then to the beach since Sunday. Having a blast,no cooking,drinking vino as we speak,and metal detecting 84,000 pull tabs the last few days. Thanks for noticing my absence.Ciao for now!

I'm bacccckkkk!!! Had a great time,weather was fair to middlin' and we ate lots of seafood. Two nights ago we got a call from our youngest in Kentucky to tell us he had broken his fibula and messed up his ankle pretty bad. He had two pins put in yesterday so Monday its back on the road for us to take him some meals and see if we can maybe get a laundry service to do his clothes for him. He does have a great girlfriend though,thank goodness. He will have to stay off the leg for six weeks.Sorry to ramble,just wanted ya to know what is going on.

I got nuttin except I did find some knockout shells and the hubster found what looked like a conch shaped shell,only prettier but it had a hermit crab inside of it and well,nobody wants crabs so we threw him back.

You should maybe get a gallon or so of Clorox for bleaching peoples' eyes after that lovely sight,just kidding! CIvil War show was in Marietta last weekend,I went the last day but mostly hung around the hotel reading.

Civil War show? you mean for selling items from? did he buy or sell anything? If he has any bullets for sure from the war I would like to buy one.

He buys relics and sells them at an antique store here. He puts the bullets in with other period items in Ryker cases,lots of miscellaneous items.You should come to Tennessee sometime and visit some of the Civil War sites here like Carnton Plantation.
