I have to sand and paint an entrenching tool.
U.S. Army issue 1968.
My neighbor just had a birthday. His wife is giving him a small prospector's sluice and panning equipment.

Well,, the one guy that I know is a prospector and a member of the M.D. club I belong to,, has found some flake gold. He is looking to sell some of his equipment. He told me that what gold he did find over the years,, has not covered the expense of his equipment. My neighbor is a well driller. He knows where the quartz is. It should be interesting.

You never know where it might lie....and booom....you hit it big. Only certain thing is that if one never tries they will probably not be the one that finds it.

Rain, rain, rain,
Cleaned up the "1968 AMES Entrenching Tool"
Sanded, hung up, first coat. Needs 2 more light coats and then 24 hours to dry.
