This hunt will always linger in my mind. The foundation and surrounding grounds were magical. Absolutely forgotten in time besides a lone hunter using the foundation as a stand. What a great day. Me and the other Basstrds of Bramble had a time never to be forgotten . The newest item found was an 1863 IH. Earliest was likely a pewter button and a1766 Hibernia. Another notable was a 1797 Draped Bust and 5 - KG3's

Those sites are few and far between. It's an incredible feeling when the high tones start showing up and you know you've found an early virgin site. The Hibernia is a killer coin

That is an interesting looking site Scrappy. It's weird... but I almost feel like I was there too... I even feel like I found an eagle button and a large cent!

Your hospitality and generosity are most appreciated. That was an experience that I will NEVER forget. I even got a pic of you busting through the brambles, almost looks like Big Foot!

Yep, few and far in between. It's the only verifiably virgin I've ever had;)

Hahaha! BIGFOOT! That's a hilarious photo, and you could probably convince some knuckleheads it was him! Lol

Gut-busting photo, and nice to see your eagle button and LC. It was an unforgettable experience.

What a hunt man! I hope you can get back there in the dead of winter to hit that place a little more... there has to be tons of stuff left. Those huge stone walls are very impressive. I remember I was in the airport flying back from New Orleans when all those copper pictures were sent to me... super jealous.

Sweet Buckle!

You certainly had a great day then Steve, :notworthy: heck it was so good that when you showed the finds that Saturday evening I had to bail from the DIPA event to hunt with the B.O.B.s that next day. :headbang: Kevin's Brother-in-Law also had a great time that day. We even made the newspaper. :occasion14:

What a great haul. The coins are my favorite, especially the early large cents.
