Some real nice iron relics there Steve. Brad is the best Electrolocist (new word I just created). He is also Iron's best friend

That's quite a ferrous collection there Steve, and made even more impressive by the work of the Master. Great job by both of you! But you'd better start putting together your own electrolysis setup before Brad decides to start charging you for his professional services. I hear they're not cheap ....

Very nice. Sometimes I get disappointed when I find iron; however, there are a few items unearthed every now and then that I save. Keep up the restorations!

This thread is great on two accounts, as an Ode to Iron (awesome collection Steve) and in recognition to Mr. Johnny Ironseed himself. Brad, if Fe ever became a country, you'd be its ambassador. You've made a lot of people look at iron a new way or actually get into the business themselves, directly or indirectly. Heck, I found an axe head and snaffle bit on a quick hunt tonight, and am just itching to cook 'em!

If you would have told me a year ago that part of my Saturday would be spent happily monitoring the progress of a 200 year old horseshoe in a pot of boiling wax, I would have laughed. But iron appreciation has made the hobby, and my understanding of history, that much richer.
