Too busy for serious detecting sorry to say. So the wife and I hit the same local site a few times. I got a small cannonball and the cut piece which I just soaked in lemon juice and pressed between alum foil. At that point I just gently rubbed it between my fingers and rinsed it off w a little soap. Wife got a 1785 Conn cent and her 1st pillar half reale. She's getting good with her Deus. I got a nice 3 penny bullion weight too. Some 30 coins from this field so far, half of which were cut pistareens. What a nice site. I made some video too but I'm too wiped to process it. Would rather just hunt w/ the spare time. Maybe later I'll put some vids together.
