Impact Fractures

I had never found a point with an obvious impact fracture until I found this about 2 months back. Hard to guess if it was thrown or stabbed but it was going for something. Do you also have a point with an impact fracture? If so please share a pic.

Here's one with an in-situ. What a teaser, if only they could tell a story. It's a Stanly with a big impact fracture, it looks like it was reworked into a tool.

Great example Josh. Looks like they could have rechipped it if they had wanted too, plenty of material left. Here are a couple pics, one is a rechipped point that had an impact fracture, other is a point that fractured from the base as well as the point. you can see where the fracture "waves" meet. Must have hit something solid.
