Nice looking pieces trevvma, but not all of those Stemmed Points are Adenas. Some of them are Archaic Stemmed Points.

Actually, quite a few of them. I only see 5, maybe 6, that I would consider to be Adenas. Tha rest are Archaic Stemmed Points. You have to remember that not all Stemmed Points are Adenas. There were quite a few Archaic Stemmed types that occured right before the Adena culture that kind of transitioned into the stemmed Adena Points.

Sort of like the Dickson Point which has been called by the incorrect name "Adena" Dickson for years when in fact the Dickson is a Hopewell type Point. You can blame Overstreet for that one.

Yea I know right..they have umpteen different adena stlye points ,why cant there just be an one style adena(maybe 2) and leave it at that, nice looking collection though as I also see about 4 or 5 nice true adena's in the bottom frame,as for the thebes ,I havent even found a broken one in my 5+ years of point hunting

I've seen these E notches in person, they are spectacular! My jaw dropped to the floor when I saw them. On my list, these come in second just behind Clovis. Trevor actually gave me one of them as a gift! It is the centerpiece of my collection and it has a permanent home. It is doubtful that I will ever find one of these beauties so I consider myself very fortunate to have one.

those e notch points are ferocious!
i have never heard of them or seen them before
    where were these manufactured?
they remind me of the jaw notch point from the dakotas, although they seem like they had to have been made by very experienced knappers
I have more guitars than I need, but not as many as I want.
