That side notch that your not sure of the type looks like a side-notch Brewerton,it has some extra fine chipping thats 4sure!

I noticed your pestle and it looks a little similar to something I found while walking a creek near Natchez, MS last year. I, actually my 11 year old step-daughter, picked up this interesting looking rock from the mix of rocks on a sandbar. It's definitely rock, very smooth, but not completely spherical, almost has a rounded square feel to it. It may be nothing but an aged and naturally worn rock...but sure looks interesting.
Any opinions?
