Meanwhile on the other side of the bay.....

I closed up shop early friday and moseyed over to Smith Point on Trinity Bay to walk a few sites close to our fishing camp we call "the Reserve". The tide was way out here too, and I knew the fishin' was toast so I explored for new sites as well as visited the closest ones to the house.
The skeeters were fierce. The Cutter was about as good as gravey is to meat loaf!! They flew up my nose ,down my throat, in my ears. It was cold and windy, but that didn't matter, the little stinkers had more hair than me.
This awl was fresh out of the muck and shell where I have been finding big shards from a pot. That midden is about a foot under the tide normaly. I dug it up with a manure fork two weeks ago to loosen up some more pot pieces from the muck. I saw it laying there on top of where I broke up the slop.
I like the hash marks. Found the other one two weeks ago, about 20 feet away from this one. Thanks,
    Lone Star
