Starved Rock Show pics from LaSalle, IL

Here's a link to some pics of the Starved Rock Show. There were some fantastic displays of relics. There was even a guest appearance of The Atlas Spear and Grandpa. For those of you who may not know the Atlas Spear is a relatively famous piece allegedly found by Tony Bakutis near the town of Atlas in Pike County, Illinois. "Grandpa" is a well known Dickson point that measures over 8" long. It was found in Columbia County, Wisconsin and many consider it to be the finest flint piece ever found in Wisconsin.

Anyway, the show had a great turnout and some fantastic displays. Just FYI, in the picture of Larry Sharar's relics all of those axes are personal finds from Des Moines County, Iowa. Thanks again to any board members who may have attended.
