Finally a little rain! A few finds from today
Didn't get as much rain as we needed but enough to help clean off the freshly planted fields. Hopefully some future rains will knock down the dirt a little more. These were found from two different sites. I am assuming that the holed rock is a fire starter since it was near a lot of heat-fractured rocks and there wasn't hardly any other rocks in this sandy field. I was real happy with the point that is in the in-situ photo. Any info on that particular type of point? Thanks for looking.

Very nice. We finally got about three days of rain, after a miserable winter. Time to go roaming and see what's come to the surface :-) Thanks for sharing.

Great looking finds. The Point in your in situ looks to be a nice deep notch Thebes or possibly a Lost Lake, but definitely an early Archaic type. That's a hell of a find right there.

Here is our problem, it was one great fall /spring collecting year. My sites are covered in grass due to the prolonged low level.
