The second item, it appears, is an arrow-straightener. At least I've seen other, more experienced Tnet members identify similar items as such.

I found that pc on a site i was digging few years ago in direct relation to a midden I was onto, after wondering why it was there, why it seemingly was brought there, as there was no more of this material found that I know of (went through the place pretty good) I came to the conclusion that it was possibly intended to be used for something and wasn't ie. shaft abrader. I also found some out of place hardstone there that I assumed the same about. Thats one of the things I like about hunting rocks. The assumptions and guesswork some pcs take you on and just leaves you guessing. some stuff just don't have conclusions.
Good thing it wasn't much I dinged it, something ive been lucky not to do most of the time.
Thought I had a lil somn somn thats why i took in-situ
