What a day! I would like to know what that. triangle point with the little ears and ground base is. It looks like a Greenbriar to me. Trans-paleo.( photo # 6 ) and Mabey 8 too.

Its a new field but I've checked hills around it within 2 miles about a 5 mile radius there is stuff everywhere! A river runs about 1/4 mile away and large swamps. Its a really hilly area and could imagine those hills as small islands 1000s of years ago

Or ambush points and your in the kill zone. Sounds like a perfect spot to surround a herd at the waters edge.

Dude! You found a nice late paleo piece. It is a type of dalton or hardaway one. Dude! Nice!

Dealer in Artifacts and Vintage Collectibles and Rocks.
I have never had a day like that. Do you find many scrapers there? That last photo looks like a drill and made from quartz? what a great trip you had.
I have N.A. artifacts for sale in the Treasure Related Section. If you like them and want to make an offer let me know, Thanks rock

Dang! I got so carried away with the hardaway/dalton I totally missed the drill. The stripes in it look sort of like a swan or duck with it's feathers folded back in flight. Another post has me looking into transparent pieces deeper. I better quit that. Next thing you know, I'll be posting broken beer bottles . Asking, why don't you see it?
