    Copper Spear

    Copper Spear point I found in a field on the outskirts of town. Date ranges from 3000-1200B.C. Exact ID would help if anyone knows. Thanks. HH lko

    This is the only copper I have found but I know there is a spot I can hit where there is a ton more waiting to be found.

    These are fabulous treasures and for some odd reason almost totally overlooked by most THers.

    To the end they'll be bragging up wheat cents and modern silver coins to the neglect of America's real treasures.

    Oh well, that just leaves more for you guys

    If you ever find an actual quarry site/pit take a close look around it, I've heard of stories where dozens of broken mauls have been found around a single mine pit. I have one broken copper mine maul and the thing is huge!
