The rains have been very good for me lately..... I found this today in Central California. It's absolutely perfect! It's 4 1/4" long and made from Monterey Chert. There's a fair amount of caliche adhering to one side, but I figure I won't scrub it off. I'm pretty stoked! Any ideas as to style, age, and value??

Thanks,

Rick

Beautiful piece! I wonder why you don't ever see any of the points found here make it on the banner?

Being from California myself, I can say that its a great and lucky find! They had such great material to use with all of the obsidian and volcanic glass type of rocks but they are hard to find these days. Great find and man.... i would be back at that spot on a regular basis.
