    Ohio River Bank Finds

Hi, first time posting here, I am addicted to this forum. So I thought I would post some pics of what I found back in January 2009 walking the Ohio River bank around the Stephensport Kentucky Area. The site appeared to be an old camp, lots of red rock coming out of the bank, as well as stone tools, flint points & tools and animal bones. I try to go back to this site after the River rises and falls because there is always something new waiting to be found............I look forward to reading and seeing others finds and sharing mine here also....

Is the "green stone" in the 6th pic down a piece of copper??

No its not copper, I believe its limestone. The green you see is algie growth from being in the river. I scrubbed it pretty good but as you can see some of the algie stain remains.
