Looks like a broken blade or preform cant tell ya what time period.Nice find...

The whitish patinazation is the original surface. The flakes showing the brown interior are recent removals. Maybe plough damage but more likely somebody boogered with it.

My opinion -- worth what it's costing you.

I agree with uni its old and then been reworked. Maybe even reworked a couple hundred years ago?

Looks like a blade or preform to me. The chips are not ancient.
It's difficult to see the flaking, could be Woodland or Archaic.
Still a keeper,congrats.
