Searching for Native American artifacts is an aspect of treasure hunting that I have wanted to try for a long time, but have never made an effort to acquire the techniques, permissions, and expertise that many of you guys possess.

I am looking for someone in the Pittsburgh, Pa, NE OH area that I can join on a hunt this fall. I am anxious the find my first point!

You're in a area that's got plenty of places to hunt. Try talking to some farmers with plowed fields and creeks and springs nearby. Always ask for permission too of course. Doing some local research will point you in the right direction. Lets go mountaineers!

Ask around. Network. Really. Come up with a place where people have found stuff, get the OK, and start looking. There is a certain amount of trial and error involved for anybody, so don't get discouraged.
