is that snow on the ground in pic #7???
It's still in the upper 80's w/ heat indecees near 100 here. Really miserable weather to be working in.

yes it is snow
the ground is froze and there was about a half inch the day before but it melted
this ia the reason I had to use my knife to pry the bone awl from the ground

Thank you sir. Hard to beleive its snowing. Thats wild. Its no wonder you find so many butchering tools,knifes scrapers with all the meat and hides they had. Those guys had a great food source with the Bison. Nice bunch of pictures.

Wow ! I wouldn't be able to hunt a place like that -- I'd be on my knees, going about 10 feet a minute. It'd be dark by the time I got to the end of one row :laughing7:
