Those are nice Tools............
Big Adzes.......
Here in the Ozarks Adze use was from Dalton untill the Caddoan Gary Culture<<<>>Clear Fork Gouge here......they were also the makers of the Double-Bit Axe!!
We had the Single -Bit Axe......................
The most rare Axe the Full-Groove................
I live in a area where Woodworking Tools were very Common
I find many of them but most are used up.............
Here is a old insitu of 06" of at the Quarry site 2 days before Christmas 06"
It looks like a Blade in insitu....but it is a Adze................
I dont know what time period this belongs to yet........but I have it narrowed to a single chert type Tool!!!
It looks small because it is................I find Double-Axe broken in half with the Blade area that small
I need to take a good picture of this one........
