In-between dodging rain drops & skeeter swarms.(oh and the mud..lets not forget the mud lol)I managed to dig up two nice points.A nice thin Bulverde I think. Not real sure on the other on,but it has a slight bevel to the edges.

Those are two gorgeous points there!
That must be a stunning feeling when you catch sight of those.

If some only knew how much $ and time it takes to find the good stuff.

i know,i have to keep a watchfull eye out for the hogs snakes alligators skeeters sting rays just to find some flint.not counting 40 miles oneway to get to my sweet spot.then hopefully nobody has left any footprints, then walk 2-3miles along the beach.by the way i was hit in the leg by an 9ft alligator once, that will get your heart pumping.he was looking at me hissing i gave him space and walked around him.he was cold and not hungry, thank god.david stepped on one underwater it tried to hit him with its tail to knock him to his mouth at the same time.chomp chomp.reminds me of another time met one person off the net he came to hunt with me.i told him watch out for gators he said i dont like gators.well on our way back i seen one looked fat and bloatted about 6ft from us.i said gator he's like where where all you could see was its back was out of the water it looked dead. he headed for the brush,we were walking in the water about knee deep to get past a little area.i thought he was dead so i took a 4ft stick and poked it didnt budge poked it again it came unglued.i was out of there.never heard from that guy again.
