cool little find.. heavy for it's size..

found this at one of our favorite spots. its pretty heavy for it's size and farly sharp...little thumb scrapper im guessing? a friend says it could hematite maybe? but when i looked up hematite it looks nothing like that. any help would be great. thanks for looking

Definately not hematite.
